• you should know that I. do. not. read. anything! except for the back of shampoo bottles in the shower. That all changed Sunday when I bought and read cover to cover a book in 2 days.

Has anyone else read it? I did not think it was that good. At the very end it literally left you hanging. I do believe she has another book coming out to finish this one

• I finally found a job... that pays! It is a teacher's assisant in a Mother's Day Out program. I will only work Monday, Wed., & Friday from 9-2 which works out great. I will still be able to in to the Rick & Bubba Studio on Tuesday & Thursday's.

• A FABU find! New Chaco's make today the best of the week so far! I found this particular http://www.rockcreek.com/. Regular $74.00 on sale for $60.00 plus free shipping on orders $49.00! Be looking for them on my feet in 3-6 business days!

But tomorrow there is. I know I am real, real poor when I get super and I mean super excited about a FREE oil change tomorrow. No fine print or secret catches to tell you when you are about to pay for an oil change & all the extra stuff they did without asking. Totally free. I am not sure why I am so excited about this maybe because nothing is free anymore.

Second wave of excitement. My Aunt gave me her of her Dooney & Burke purses but I never use it because it's a little too small for me. So I am going to take it to this high end second hand shop to see how much I could get for it. I know I am real, real poor when I sell hangbags to put some cash in my pocket.

I had a great 4th of July along with good family, friends, poolside and the lake. i wish I had pictures but I would need a camera. I need to get a good camera for my blog. Hope y'all did too.

But what I really hope is, is that there is someone else out there who is just as poor as me.

where to go, what to do

I love this whole blogging world/thing. I snoop around reading and finding some really interesting people. While reading I have realized I have got to get out of friggin' Alabama. I read about people who live all over the US and they blog about all of the fun stuff that they do. I see what other places around have to offer and when I see that I feel like there are more opportunities in other places. For the past few years I have been saying if I moved anywhere it would be to North Carolina, Charlotte to exact. I will move to Charlotte. I just need someone to tell how and where to start.

My family says that I will never leave home (my Moma) and go off to another state. But I want to. I want to see what else is out there. My family lives close together. Literally around the corner, down the street, and in another neigborhood excpet my Aunt and my mom. They moved to another county. I want to prove them wrong.

I just want to go and meet new people who know nothing about me and do things I thought I never would have done.

Things I want: I have been saying these things for a while

• to be a regular somewhere
• to eat healthy foods
• to be a blogger *accomplished
  That list is not done at all. :)

My weekend starts early, tomorrow early. When does it not seeing as how I do not have a summer a job and only do my un-paid intership at the studio two days a week. I am going home to Montgomery this weekend. My Popa is having complete knee replacement surgery tomorrow so say a little prayer for him. His birthday is Friday so HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY POPA!!!!!!

i've got nothing...

I guess you can tell when my days are pretty boring... I have nothing to blog about. So we will talk about TV shows. Ok, ok, ok, I admit that I did in fact watch Jon & Kate last night. All I can say is those poor sweet babies. Whether this is real or just for the ratings I feel bad for those little Gosselins. End of story.

Tonight is a good TV show night for me. I watch The Real Housewives on Bravo and tonight it's the New Jersey reunion. Man, is it going to be good. I watch this show for a few reasons. Everyone who knows me knows I just want/need to be a housewife. I don't know why. I know they are caddy and sometimes unbearable to watch but they make life seem so fun sometimes.

Since my life is sometimes even more boring & lame than this I have been thinking of blogs I can do when I have nothing to say. I will introduce my family. I need a recent picture before I can do that. Hopefully we can get on when we all get together this weekend for my counsin 1st birthday.

i'm a local celeb

This summer I am doing an internship for a radio talk show, the Rick & Bubba Show. If you know who they are and listen to them you might be able to imagine just how fun it may be to intern there. And you also know that they give fun nick names to the interns. I got my nick name yesterday!!! I am intern "I'm just thinkin.'" If you know me it fits like the perfect shoe! HA! While doing that I go to be on air for a WHOLE HOUR!! A whole hour of their show was ME! I loved every minute of it. It was not until the show was over did I realize just how many people heard ME, silly ole me. People started leaving comments on FB saying they heard me and they just loved it. I even had people I didn't know wanting to be my friend. I believe this could be the push I have been looking for. My major in college is Communication, TV Broadcasting so there is a good reason I am doing this fun internship. With all of that being said I really hope that this internship opens doors for me. I also feel the need to update you guys on my current status: I am still in my pj's. It is 4:38 PM. The only thing I have done is ate and moved from my bed to the couch. My mom is home from work today and we've just had a lazy day. It's okay to have these kind of days, ya know?!

We watched the movie "He's Just Not That Into You". Will someone please tell me that it's just a movie and not to start anayzling every move and gesture guys make now? Thank you!

I should have warned you this would be an "all over the place" post. But I didn't and now you're reading... I just have one more random thought. I have not told you yet but I am a reality TV junkie. One that is on right now is Tori & Dean. Anyone watch that? I love Tori Spelling and that all started when I watch/ed every single old 90210 from the beginning. But after watching it (Tori & Dean) sometimes she kind of gets on my nerves.

All of that except the first part is probably irrelevant to you but this is my blog, right? I am leaving tomorrow to go to Montgomery for the weekend & Father's Day so I will post again when I return!

i wish...

I wish I got paid for laying out by the pool all day. Not a lifeguard because I am not a lifeguard just get paid for being there. That would be the life, but I don't get paid for being by the pool all day. But that is exactly what I am going to do today! I do need a real job for the summer though. I am in the Birmingham area for the summer doing an UNpaid internship so I need some cash from somewhere.

This weekend was SUPER! Friday: just take a guess at what I did!? You got it! I was by the pool but I was not by myself the whole time. My best friend called me Friday morning and told me she was coming up. So we soaked up the last few rays of the day! Saturday: The plan was to lay out but we got some pretty nasty weather here this past weekend so instead we went to the outlet malls. Sunday: My mom lives in the Birmingham area and left me in Montgomery with my Aunt to finish school but my Mom has found a church home here but I am nto sold on the one she attends. So Sunday I went and visited this Fabulous church, Westwood Baptist. It was fantastic. The music and worship. I will be going back.

I have some business to tend to and it just so happens to be at the pool. Did I mention there's a cutie at the pool? ;)

feelin' like a freshman

I have had this blog for a while so I could "blog stalk" and I have seen how people get know so many different people through blogs and thought I want the same for myself. So today, I'm writing. About myself. I am not sure why I have this blog or who will even read it. I will write about daily mussings, things I think are just too funny and whatever else I think is blog worthy. My get-to-know-me: Southern gal from AL and yes, it's always hot here. Just turned 20 and waiting for the next big thing to come along. No boyfriend just great friends & family. That is it for now until something new happens :)
